Passover
Passover Information Center 5784
Congregation Mekor Shalom wishes everyone a happy and kosher Passover holiday (a hag kasher v'sameah).
The information below is here to help everyone prepare for and celebrate the holiday.
In preparation:
-
The Rabbinical Assembly's Pesah Guide 5784 is available here.
-
To authorize Hazzan Sered-Lever to sell your hametz, please click here.
-
The Fast of the Firstborn falls on Monday, April 22. To eliminate the need to fast, it is customary to attend a pre-Pesah siyyum (study session to conclude the learning of a text) on that day. The festive meal eaten after a siyyum precludes the need to fast.

Details on how to prepare your own seder are here.
